Why we chose Charlie Gatt Construction Ltd. to build our home and why we would choose him again.

Like so many people embarking on building their “dream home”, we spend years in the dreaming and planning stages.  During this time we spent time watching the various construction companies at work.  We asked questions of friends, associates, trades persons and building supply dealers.  The one comment heard most often was praises about Charlie Gatt Construction Ltd.

We have in our year and a half association with Charlie NEVER regretted our choice.  We discovered that the comments made by others were all true.

This is the second time I have turned to Charlie Gatt to create my vision.

The first time was a small renovation where he impressed me with his speed, fussiness, neatness and perfection.  This time it was to build us a small, easy-care livable home for myself and my disabled husband.

As before, Charlie guided me through the changes in plans that were necessary for accessibility.  He willingly ironed out all the glitches and complications with a cheerful smile (while I was having a nervous breakdown) and made it work for us.

He often went beyond the 'call of duty' even to the point of 'inventing' solutions to impossible problems. I appreciate the perfectionism that shows throughout our lovely home.  He even managed to meet an unexpected deadline.

Beginning a new business can be a stressful time especially if you have to construct your facilities.  Charlie, having you as the General Contractor gave us the freedom to work on other aspects of our new business, without having the concerns of dealing with a multitude of sub trades, timelines and all the other little quirks that go along with construction projects.

Your integrity to quality is of the highest standards and the icing on the cake was the fact that at the end of the project we found we were under budget.   What more could a new business ask for?

Many people asked us in the beginning why we were not building the shop because with all our experience we should be and they shook their heads.  Now they turn their heads to get another look at our beautiful workshop which could only have been possible with your help and guidance.
